The Greatest Show On Earth

Wednesday Night we went to the Circus! This was Mike's first time there and he loved it! He took so many pictures of the show, most of which are pretty dark, but he was so amazed by everything. Kenedy was also amazed, but not as much as her dad! For the first thirty minutes she did not move off my lap, she just starred at the stage. It was so cute! She did really well until the last twenty minutes, when it was time for bed and time to be done sitting. I also had such a fun time! I think this may become a must for us each year, seeing that it was such a hit with the honey and the babe!

I Need Your Help!

I know this is so silly, but anyone who knows me well, knows I have the hardest time making decisions about the silliest things. Friday we turned in our adoption paperwork, Yeah! Now I just have to get my letter and scrapbook page done. The letter and the scrapbook page is what the Birth Mother uses to choose her couple. So even though this may seem silly, it is really important. I have narrowed my color schemes down to two Shabby Princess Digital kits. I need your help to decided which color scheme I should go with. I will use the same color scheme for both the letter and the scrapbook page. Here are the links of the kits so you can see all the paper and embellishments or you can click on the picture and see a larger version of the picture. There is a poll on the right side of my blog, you can leave your choice there! Thanks for your opinions, you gals are the greatest!

I Love Running In the Fall!

This picture has nothing to do with the post other than it is a Fall picture from last year! Look how much my baby has grown!
I love Fall time! When I was little my favorite time of the year was Summer, but as I have grown up my favorite has changed to Fall. I don't know if it is just me, but it seems to get hotter ever summer! Maybe I'm just getting old, but I have a hard time in the heat! I love Summer activities, but I hate the heat! This Spring I took up a new hobby, running! I love it! I love the way it makes me feel; I love going with my sweet friend, Heidi; I love going by myself and turning my music up loud; I love to go and just have time to think; I love taking Kenedy and listening to here scream if I stop (she keeps me motivated); but most of all I love running in the fall! I love the smells, sounds, and the fact that I'm not sweating like a pig! I love that we have four seasons, it gives me something to look forward to, but I wish that Fall lasted half the year!

Not To Biz!

I don't know how the Cashier at Roberts got the paint out of fabric because I did what she told me and it didn't even kind of come out! Oh well, Kenedy now has an oufit for painting!

Pop-cle

Pop-cle (aka Popsicle) is Kenedy's favorite word! Every time Kenedy cries because she wants something and I ask her, "What do you want baby girl?" she responds, "Pop-cle"! It took Mike and I awhile to figure out what she was saying, but once we did we noticed she asks for Popsicles all the time! She wants one after every meal! I'm sure if my teeth were hurting I would want them that often also!

My Little Artist

Kenedy and I took a trip to Roberts today to get some stuff for Super Saturday. I was looking at the cute little Time Out chairs contemplating if I had to have one, when I noticed that Kenedy had opened the dark brown paint I had just put in the cart. She thought it was shampoo because she was rubbing it in her hair as fast as she could. It was all over the cart, all over her hands, arms, clothes and head by the time I grabbed it from her. We had just come from the park and I had used all my wet wipes on the sand that had got thrown in Kenedy's face. So here I am in the middle of the store with a child covered in brown paint and nothing to wipe her off with. Luckily I ran into a girl from high school who gave me some wipes so that I could clean her up enough to put her in the car. I was feeling very flustered by the time I got everything pretty cleaned up, when I remembered learning at Enrichment "If you are going to laugh later about your child's actions or words, you should laugh now." So that is what I did the whole way home. We had to take a quick detour to Walmart to get some Biz to get the stains out of her clothes. The cashier at Roberts said that Biz would take the paint out. Her clothes are still soaking at the moment so I will have to get back to everyone about "to Biz or not to Biz"!
(I wish I had taken a picture of the paint mess before I cleaned it up, but that was the last thing I was thinking of at the time. The picture above only shows about 1/4 of the paint mess!)

Teething Is So Fun!

Monday Night Kenedy and I drove to Salt Lake to meet Mike. For Family Night we decided that we would go to Hollywood Connection down by the E-center and let Kenedy ride the little rides. We stopped off at first to Chili's for dinner. Dinner was good, but Kenedy was terrible. She is getting two more teeth and she is showing it! She was screaming so loud and throwing such a fit that I had to take her to the bathroom to calm her down, which is unusual for the K bug; normally she can be distracted very easily! We could tell her teeth were bugging her because she chewed on a piece of lettuce until it looked like an old rag, pretty gross! Kenedy was such a bear at dinner that we decided as soon we were finished eating that we would head home! I felt bad because I had been telling Kenedy that she got to ride the horses all day and she was so excited about it. However, there was no way I was going to deal with a screaming child in public any longer than I had to. It is a good thing that Kenedy is so darn cute because I was ready to leave her at Chili's to become the newest dish washer. LOL!
The lettuce that she chewed and chewed on until I was sick to my stomach from looking at it!
Chewing again, because I took the lettuce away!

Throwing a fit!

Do you think Chili's could invest in some smaller spoons for small mouths?

The Mess of Three!

Today I got to babysit my dear friend, Ginger's children. After they left I took a picture of the playroom. Wow! Kenedy makes huge messes on her own and with the help of two more she became the master of messes today! I wish I had taken a picture of the kids while they were playing, but I was too busy feeding, changing diapers, bathing, and breaking up fights to think about it! Three kids are alot of work! I was exhauseted by the time the kids went home!Eventhough kids make the biggest messes they are so much fun! It is a good thing they takes naps so we have time to blog about them and then clean them up! Kiason and Reese we had fun today, come again!
