June

The day after we returned from California, Kenedy had her dance recital. This year we took dance with a bunch of Kenedy's little friends. Kenedy loved going to dance each week to see all her friends. The girls have all grown so much this year. It is fun to watch, but saddens me a little to see how fast time flies. They did a fabulous job on their recital and they all looked adorable!

Romnee is officially ours! This adoption has been so much easier than the last one! The day was a little rough to start, but ended up fabulous! I had a break down the day before about being late to everything, so Mike and I decided we were not going to be late. We were suppose to be there at ten we got up at 6:30. We got everyone ready and were out the door in plenty of time. We headed to the courthouse, proud of ourselves for being on time. We arrived at the courthouse in Farmington to find out that we were actually suppose to be at the Bountiful courthouse. I lost it! I cried the enitre way to Bountiful. Luckily we were only ten minutes late because we had left early. I composed myself and realized that it really didn't matter what time we arrived as long as we were able to adopt Romnee. The legal proceedings went well. Some of the questions made me laugh and others made me cry! I am so grateful for this opportunity. All the people at the courthouse were so sweet! The Judge was the nicest. They all made the day so special. On top of all those sweet people, we had the greatest people with as well: Our Family! We are so grateful to everyone who was able to come; it means a lot to us! We are also so grateful to have Romnee be ours!! After court we headed over to El Madador (there are good things about court being held in Bountiful vs. Farmington) for some lunch and then to Bratz for a little blessing dress shopping. We found a gorgeous dress! It made us so excited for the temple! After shopping we took the kids to the pool to have a little family fun! It turned out to be a fabulous day!

California

The kids did awesome in the car! We broke up the trip by driving to St. George staying over and then heading the rest of the way home. We left Friday, June 11th and reached Anaheim on Saturday the 12th. We started the trek home on the 19th and finished up on the 20th. We had a ton of fun! Kenedy was a little sad on the way home. She cried and said, "I do not want to go home because then everyone has to go back to work. I just want to be with my family!" What a cutie! Before long she will be dying to go home so she can get away from her family and hang out with her friends. I am not looking forward to that.
On Sunday, we went and visited Mike's brother Scott that lives in L.A. (They have just moved to Utah and we could not be more excited). We attended church with him and Kaylie and then headed over to their house to see our newest nephew. He is a doll! Kenedy and Lincoln loved playing with Kaylie and holding Gavin. What a cute little family Scott and Julie have.

I have little fish for kids. They would stay in the pool all day and all night if I let them. We usually got a little swimming in before or after Disneyland.

We spent one day at the beach and then headed to Disneyland. The kids played in the sand and water and collected shells. we rented one of those six man bikes; it was a blast. Kenedy and Lincoln sat in the basket in the front and rang the bell non-stop while the rest of us pedaled our little hearts out.

On the way home from California. We stopped in Cedar City to see one of our favorite people. It was so much fun to spend a few hours with Vonnie and her adorable kiddos. We love her so much and are so grateful for her amazing sacrifice. We do not know what we would do without our little Roman Noodles!

Disneyland

We got Five for the price of three day Hoppers to Disneyland and California Adventure. I love Disneyland, but five days is a bit much for me. So since it was just our little family and Grandma and Grandpa, we got to call the shots. Some days we would sleep in, go swimming and then head to Disneyland. Other days we would go to Disneyland early and then come home early. The last day we did do the whole go early and leave late. One day of that was enough for me and the kiddos. We had a ton of fun with our little family

Star Struck

This is the best thing about Disneyland! Kenedy loved getting her book signed and shaking hands with her favorite characters! Lincoln got excited to see them and loved waiving at them, but he did not want to be touched. The only way I could get him to get a picture was if I stood there with him.

Kenedy was in Heaven! We spent about 1/3 of our time at the Princess Fantasy Faire. We talked with the Princesses, got our pictures taken, went to the Royal Ball, Listened to a couple of the princesses read stories, and sat and watched the princesses coming and going. You might think, "Poor Lincoln", Don't. He loved them also. He even stood by them to get his picture taken without me!

Ariel is Kenedy's favorite Princess. When she saw her, she touched her head and fell to the ground. She said, "Mom, I just fainted because I can't believe she is really here!" She asked Ariel all kinds of questions and Ariel was so cute with her answers. I love when the characters really play theirs parts!

May

I love Spring nights! Especially this year! I loved how it did not get super hot for the longest time. I wish ever spring lasted this long. Mike is such a great daddy! I love to watch him play with the kids especially when he doesn't know I am looking. The kids love him so much. I wish I got the welcome home he gets everyday from the kids.

Kenedy had her Joy school graduation. It was so much fun watching the kids perform their songs and poems that they learned throughout the year. I can not believe how much they grew this year. My little lady is getting way too big way too fast! Stop her please!

Mike was working late so we headed up to see Thomas the Train in Heber City. Kenedy and Lincoln loved it! It was super windy so Romnee was not the biggest fan. Maybe next year.
